Blankenberge city library opening

On 10 December 2011 the Blankenberge city library was officially opened. The conversion of a late 19th century school building involved the refurbishment and re-organisation of the existing building and the addition of two new three-storey wings on either side of it and a series of circulation galleries that connect the main spaces. The library is now open to the public and the new children's library is proving particularly popular with young readers.
Cadaqués house completed

A private house in northern Spain is the latest in the list of our recently completed buildings. Located in the village of Cadaqués, on the coast of Catalunya, it is a house of comfort and leisure, intended for occasional use. Within its tight urban context, it engages with the ideas of critical regionalism explored by the lineage of architects such as Coderch, Correa and Milá who worked in Cadaqués inthe '50s and '60s. The project was carried out in association with Liebman Villavecchia Arquitectos, Barcelona.
